Camping at 4 bears casino

The gift shop had incidentals, snacks and cool stuff, so bring your credit card (but don’t leave it unattended in your room!). The big restaurant’s food was waaaay pricey and fatty. They have a small snack bar with limited hours. If you smoke and drink, they have a lounge for that, even in enlightened 2018. Anyway, WHY is there is no safe in the room to lock up our valuables? Their casino lights and sounds were unbearable (pun intended).

Told the guy, yup, they did that to me, too.). (Watched it happen to someone else, next week. So, be aware of this before you decide to stay here. and then came the management’s apathetic, insincere ‘apology’ of ‘sorry this happened to you” and “sorry you feel this way”, (which, btw, is NOT an actual apology). But at 4 Bears they were indignant and claimed to have a “right” to do this, and said it was all my fault. Turns out that this lodge thinks it’s perfectly ok to ransank a guest’s belongings, “pack” guest clothing and stow it in a closet, and “throw out” anything they believed to be food items (even if it wasn’t actually food). Rude! Awfully long walk way back to the front desk, where I had just been and said hello & inquired about messages. Instead of phoning the room and telling me they needed to move me, I came back later to find my key card did not work. The room was ok, the room service ok, but the management not good. I stayed in the 4 Bears Casino Lodge for long visit & got to know it well.
