In mid-September 2021 was announced that the ship's inaugural season will be in the Caribbean and Europe-Mediterranean. In mid-July 2020, RCG-Royal Caribbean Group (via its subsidiary Royal Caribbean Cruises Asia) announced that due to delayed delivery from the shipbuilder, Wonder OTS' China debut (planned for 2022-Q1, with homeporting in Shanghai) is postponed 'until further notice'. Wonder OTS is the 14th vessel delivered to Royal Caribbean by the French shipbuilding company Chantiers de l'Atlantique (St Nazaire, France), and RCI fleet's 28th liner. The vessel (IMO number 9838345) is currently Bahamas- flagged (MMSI 311001033) and registered in Nassau. The vessel has a building cost of USD 1,35 billion (2019 shiporder rates). Wonder OTS just slightly exceeds in size the original Oasis-class vessels Oasis OTS (2009) and Allure OTS (2010).
